Bots and Bats

I want to have some ships in a mod that have no nanobots or shield batteries. When I set the nanobot_limit and shield_battery_limit to 0 it works and you can not buy nanobots or shield batteries for that ship. The problem is that the nanobots or shield batteries can be carried over from your old ship that had them. I tried both removing the lines and setting them -1 and that just allows you to buy an infinate amount of nanobots or shield batteries. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Yeah, change the loadouts from any ship to 0, and that will solve the problem....unless you were wanting to keep them in it. If that is so, then maybe you will have to leave them at 1 each instead............or let the patch boot them for cheating - which may stop them eventually
