Beam trails

Hi, I am new here, I have been fiddling with trying to make a beam weapon and got a good one by turning thr muzzle veloicity up to 50,000, but the trail is feint near the guns, is there any way to keep the trail from fadeing as it gets closer?

Hi there TBird, welcome to TLR

It is very simple, open up beam_effects.ini and look for the effect that the gun you are editing uses. There should be entries that say tip_length and tail_length, simply change them to something absurdly high , I believe that if you look in the Editing Tutorials Forum there is a tutorial made by yours truly in the Stickied Compilation Topic that covers weapons Hope it helps
