Im looking for someone to make hardpoints...

Ok, im getting kinda desperate here. Im looking for someone to make hardpoints for me.

The modell i've made is Bounty Hunter based, and is a Medium Fighter. Namely, the Hammer.

I just posted here to save starting another thread. I could also use someone to make hardpoints for my ship. It is a miscillaneous style and it is supposed to be a type of WarShip. It is in Milkshape 3D format still. If anyone is willing to do this for me, than please email me at [email protected] and ill send you the ship and the details. Thanks

While I'm killing time, I'll take a stab at both, but, no promises...I'm not what one would call a pro.

The catch is, you have to provide me a link to a download; believe it or not, I don't have a functional email address and, hehe, don't care to get one.

I don't think I missed any hardpoints; I used a barracuda for reference (notably for the running lights, contrail...only one, strangely enough..., mine, & countermeasure placement)

As far as the other ships go, I'll do'em until I get bored. Don't know if that'll happen with one or several more.

Whoops...I didn't see that "level 4 hardpoint on each new wing" part. I was a bit out of it when I downloaded it & began work on it. I'll slap the new hp's on & update the link.

Btw, the class level that any standard hard point can support is determined in the hard point's respective ship entry in shiparch.ini, not in the .cmp file. For example, to give your starflier an upgrade without doing anything but changing some text, replace:

hp_type = hp_gun_special_3, HpWeapon03
hp_type = hp_gun_special_2, HpWeapon01, HpWeapon02, HpWeapon03
hp_type = hp_gun_special_1, HpWeapon01, HpWeapon02, HpWeapon03

with:

hp_type = hp_gun_special_10, HpWeapon01, HpWeapon02, HpWeapon03
hp_type = hp_gun_special_9, HpWeapon01, HpWeapon02, HpWeapon03
hp_type = hp_gun_special_8, HpWeapon01, HpWeapon02, HpWeapon03
hp_type = hp_gun_special_7, HpWeapon01, HpWeapon02, HpWeapon03
hp_type = hp_gun_special_6, HpWeapon01, HpWeapon02, HpWeapon03

You'd want to upgrade the powerplant before you slap on a bunch of Firekiss Mk II's or those class 10 weapons with the nutball names, but it would be funny.

Champs, that program looks promising...I'm gonna have to play with it a bit...I would like to know how to zoom in, but I've only played with it very briefly.

...And, I tacked on the 2 additional hard point mounts, so the hardpoints are more or less done (I think). You'll still have to fix that cargo-bay-door-is-backwards thing, as well as renaming the first group in the list to what ever nickname the ship will have...something along the fish-with-teeth line I imagine...And finally, I think you're gonna want to use a scale factor of around 20-25, and flip it upside down before exporting it.

to zoom in , use the wheel, or maintain the right click and move ...
if you see one bug or if you have one idea, make a post directly into his website .. more quicker ..
