Obviously Kitbashed Humpback

I was importing a few stock models looking at cockpits and started playing around with the humpback. there's a disorder where people think they need their limbs removing, I sorta did the reverse and added things regardlessly

bit hideous but here we go, I may do a pack of these kitbashes.

Wow, I lost interest in FL modding a little after the .cmp importer came out, Now I come back, re-register and find this awesome piece of work.

Damn, that is nice. I prefer this infinitly more than all those Star wars, Star trek, etc ships that are around. Sure their good, but, this fits with the Freelancer universum perfectly.

I think I might grab a copy of Milkshape and start doing some kitbashing, Hopefully be as fun as doing the same with Warhammer 40k models

It would make a brilliant heavy freighter I think, I reckon that I'll make a single Fighter class (Light, Medium, Heavy, Very Heavy), a single Freighter class, thats where the Heavy freighters could fit in, and a utility and Capital ship class.

Nah, It looks good, Could do with some decorations on the side of the ship though.

That reminds me, I should texture my light and heavy Liberty freighters...

Whadya reckon? 600 cargo? 700? maybe even a round 1,000? It would make it rewarding for a freighter pilot to survive and deliver his load of Diamond to Manhattan with a freighter like that. A couple more turret hardpoints and maybe even a torpedo mount would be nice, too... And of course even higher rated weapons mounts than the Humpback as well as a better powerplant.

But what to call it...

Pregnant Yak?
Humpback 2?
Sperm Whale?
Big Fat B***tard?
