Help me with the missiles...

I've been trying to change the max speed of all missiles and torpedoes, but I'm a little stuck. I believed at first that the max speed of a missile was the "nuzzle" speed multiplied by 3, but instead of having a speed of 200 m/s or so, I've found the missiles breaking five times the speed of sound.

The same happens with torpedoes. Does the accel value have something to do with the max speed?

You'll notice when you launch a missile, it's travelling quite slowly, but it still manages to catch up with your opponents eventually. What you're after is here:

[Motor
nickname = missile01_mark01_motor
lifetime = 2.750000 <-- how long the motor will burn for
accel = 22.038601 <-- the acceleration (per second)
delay = 0 <-- delay before the motor activates (in seconds)

So to cacluate the total speed of this missile, multiply 2.75 by 22 (60.5) and add the muzzle velocity (in this case 30) to get a total speed of 90.5. Remember that if you're already travelling at, say, 80, the missile will travel at 170. By fiddling around with the motor settings, you can produce a wide variety of tracking missiles.
