new attack ship

not sure if this is the right place to post this but wanted some opinions before I convert. It was based loosely around the reman concept and is quite dark.

i would comment, but it's way too dark to make out really anything except the basic shape

I can see the picture reasonable clearly: I have my color settings quite bright.
I must say that this does not look like a bad ship. Looks like a good ship

Looks like an ok ship, but please balance it, unlike that klingon ship on the frontpage...

kk, I understand it's a dark ship, whilst I dont think it looks as good here it is on a blue background and brightened up a little

As for the klingon dread, I had no intention in making that beast ballanced at all, she's a dreadnought. This one will roam around the eagle's class I think.

Wow a great ship i think it looks great, all the mods I have seen that you have done. By the way are you an Andromeda fan, Wrath of Achilles, a DSX type ship. But also a cool piece of art.

Nice looking ship, you draw the textures yourself? And what's the poly count in triangles?

poly count is fairly high for this one alas, at 1750. I do all my textures myself hand drawn on psp.

well if that 1750 is in triangles it's not too bad, that's lower then what I thought it would be from looking at those pics. But the texture and uv mapping is what really makes ships stand out, and that one is very well done.

1750 polys is nothing so don't worry. Some people are releasing ships with well over 10,000 polys.

Nice job on the texturing.

well I like to keep the polies down to minimize the strain on lower spec machines. this is a trait I picked up from the last games I modded which sometimes showed 500+ ships in one moment...
