Unknown crash

Right: here's the problem. I was testing my mod, the Republic, and realised that I had a few problems: docking onto the FIRST ring of a tradelane (the others worked fine) and UNDOCKING from Calamari Station (both of these items are in the first of the new systems).
While trying to work these out, I found that I couldn't see pilots when I hailed them. So I reinstalled Freelancer, only to realise that I'd switched them off I deleted all patrols in the system, and entered, but there was an immediate crash.
I can't understand why.

Use the debugging, find answers to crashes, which is totally dedicated to systems crashes.

I think you have more mod experience then me so it would be helpful to know what you tried before to find the bug.

I don't like FLE but I use it to detect whether there is a missing ini or to making visible paths and zones. Perhaps your bug is that easy.

Actually, Chips is right...the thread dealing with crashes is extremely well laid out, so that you should be able to find a place to start looking by going over the material covered there.

I looked through it. The thing is: it used to just be one thing. Then I couldn't even enter the system, and now I can't even undock from any station anywhere. I'm going to re-install Freelancer to deal with the last one: I think I changed something by mistake.
I looked at the thread where it says "Crash when entering the system by jumpgate or jumphole". I've deleted patrols and zone populations on BOTH sides, but still no luck. The jumpgate settings have never been changed, and when I looked they seemed similiar to all the others.

Your problem sounds like your mod isn't running on the server so for the server there is no base to dock. Looks strange if your ship wants to enter a closed hangar dock of a battleship.

I don't use a server. The Republic is so far only an SP mod.
Thanks for the offer. I'm letting my co-admin have a look at it, but I might send you a copy anyway
