Help! Fixed cruiser main gun?

Ok, i've searched....over an hour now, looking through stuff, and couldn't find what i was after, there is just soooo much info on all things heh. What i need to know is : What do i need to put in my model (i.e. Freelancer hardpoint name) to mount the Liberty Cruiser Main gun on one of my own cruisers? I don't want a visible graphic, as the gun is part of the cruiser....What do i need to call the hardpoint to make it NOT rotate around? Details PLEASE!!!! I really want to do this! Can a revolute hardpoint be set to NOT rotate? HOW DO I DO THIS?

HRELP!~

I have the model all ready to go EXCEPT this. please help and be detailed

Make a light hardpoint on your model, then include the gun in the ship package, but don't include a light on that hardpoint. Then all you need to do is buy they ship (and/or use IonCross to add the gun) and it should work. I could be wrong tho...

I figured it out, but thank you for the response! I made a second shield hardpoint and stuck it there, and it works just lovely

now i just wish it didn't un-mount when you sell the ship

It's not for sale ANYWHERE in the mod, but if you buy the ship it's on, then sell it, you have a mountable cruiser main gun

Remove the weapon_goods.ini package entry for the gun. That way - they cannot see/sell it.

Also - light mounts have 360 degree rotation - so good job picking shield (i haven't tried those yet).

works like a champ...Can't see it to un-mount it, now i'll use your wisdom to make it so they can't sell it once they sell the ship!
