Image question

I'm curious, is there any way to view the ship images without milkshape?

Screen shots are the only way I have been able to.

ship images is a pretty broad topic, what exactly do you mean by it?

I want to take an existing Freelancer ship and modify it. I've done a crude representation using a screen shot, but I want to be able to make it usible in the game.

I've downloaded Milkshape and Gmax, along with the tutorial, but in trying to duplicate the work shown in the tutorial, my perspective isn't the same. The one in the tutorial is at more of an angle than mine.

I have a lot of interesting original ship designs, but I don't know if I'll ever have the patience to use milkshape or gmax to put them into the game. From what little I've sampled thus far, it's pretty frustrating.

Umm... Dude? Just move your perspective view around! Its not fixed. (Yes. It is VERY frusterating...)
