Intro Video Clip

Hi there everyone, i know all of you think of modding different to what i do. My modding is the intro video clip, everytime i try to put a newly created wmv from an avi (using a converter) it doesn't want to play it.

Please help, is there some sort of wmv profile i must choose, or is there a program or tool out there i must use to get it working.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, and if it all works out you may see my intro clips at the beginning of some expansion mods.

only thing i can remember is to name your new movie the same as the origional and it works (or dose for me)

its in freelancer.ini:

[Startup
movie_file = movies\MGS_Logo_Final.wmv
movie_file = movies\DA_Logo_Final.wmv
movie_file = movies\FL_Intro.wmv

insert the paths/filenames of ur video file.
works fine for me.

Ok, i figured it out.

Apparently, Freelancer only likes videos with Windows Media 8 codecs and them only. The problem was the programs I was using kept putting WMA9 for audio on and freelancer refused to read it.
