''Ship direction'' and the Landing sequence

hi, i was wondering if the following thing is possible (tho i font think it is)

i'm working on my mod (battletech mod) and i want to make a ship that, when you are piloting it in space, it will fly in a certain direction, but when landing on a planet (i.e the little landing scene you watch when you land and takeoff) i want the ship to be facing a different direction. is this possible

(for those who know anything about battletech, i'm trying to make it so my Dropships will land in the correct manner)

thanks

should be, change the orientation of the HpMount I believe. Make it face backwards and your ship should dock backwards, face it down and when docking your ship might rotate 90 down. I foget if I ever tested this or not (think I did a long long long time ago), so kinda theory wise, but was thinking this would do well for a gundam robot type of ship which you want landing upright on the surface.

The sequences are in a thn file - you can edit this to change the "path" that it flies in when its the cutscene landing/takeoff. There is a tutorial on thn editing in the tutorials forum
