A few more questions.

So I got all the problems (except the navmap one) solved in my last thread. I have a couple of new ones .

1. In mission descriptions, they say things like "he has gone into the jersey debris field, the perfect place to dissapear" With new systems (mine atleast) that is just blank and reads as "he has gone into the, the perfect place to dissapear" Where can I add text to these missions? And I know how to do infocards if its infocard related, and im assuming it is.

2. I completly redid the Alaska system, yet the gate is still locked. When I was still in the beta versions of the redone alaska, I somehow got the gate to work (lol) but I had to reinstall FL, because FLMM corrupted it, as usual. Now I can't seem to figure out how to unlock the gate. In intialworld.ini I removed the 'locked gate' lines, and the 'npc locked gate' like I did before, however the gate is still locked, on both ends. The npcs can use it now though. Also the jumphole to alaska that I made works...

3. Infocards. I noticed that in the regular game infocards, the game specifies only 1 of them, however it uses 2. For example, lets say (not the exact number) 1213 is the ids_info for manhattan, and in li01.ini it says that line ids_info = 1213, but when you use FLED-ids, number 1213 only displays half of the data, and 1214 displays the rest. Any way to duplicate this effect? If not, I can just combine the two infocards...

4. Bases list. I am also trying to add the new bases to bases list and trade data.

hi for your alaska problem .. in initialword.ini
i have deleted lines ???
you need just to put ;;; just in front one every npc like:
;npc_locked_gate = 2293678337  ;Li01_to_Li05
;npc_locked_gate = 2284213505  ;Li05_to_Li01

and

;locked_gate = 2284213505         ;Li05_to_Li01 ;Li05_to_Li01
;locked_gate = 2293678337         ;Li01_to_Li05 ;Li01_to_Li05

normally it's work .. i have do it for my own mod ...
in fact put ; in front on every locked gate !!!!

I just deleted those lines. lol. Thats waht I did before, and it worked. Now its not working... im rather confused.

it is use in

Map = 12345, 12346

it identifies a base so that when you look at the info of the base it will tell you all about its description and what you can buy and sell.

Well, from your last thread you know I've got no clue about #4. As to your Alaska problem, how are you testing it out? Are you using a saved game? Open SP? Server? I would use OpenSP and make sure that m13 has the gate unlocked.

#1: I've never had problems with missions so I've never delved into it but I would check the zone that the vignette is in to make sure that it actually has an IDS name. Then, and I'm not sure what these are, but the "type =" line has something to do with what type of missions are given out. So you might want try changing them around. (ie exclusion, open, field) Remember this is coming from someone who has never messed with it before so you might want to wait for someone who knows what they're talking about. Good luck.

ok, but where is this line at? what ini file?

also to kaegogi, that is the only real difference i see between now and the reinstall I did (that rendered the gate unusable)

in the early stages of my redone alaska I used open sp, however I started testing it in MP after I did a clean reinstall, and I never edited the m13 files... thx for the suggestion.

I think he's talking about the infocardmap.ini in your Interface folder.
