Look in Freelancer.ini in the EXE folder, you'll see a section with the names of DLL files. Copy an entry in that section and replace the name with that of your DLL. Not sure about the errors you get though

Right click on your dll file, select properties, and make sure its not write protected....which causes a run-time error - though am sure its something like 72....

its not write protected and it is declared in the freelancer.ini file
but what i want to know is if i write down a name or so on location 1 how can i give a ship the IDS if there IDS_info without placing this into the recourses.dll but into another dll
i guess ill be messing around in the recourses.dll then

Use fled-ids to find where the last DLL ends and yours starts, that way you don't need to risk messing up anything that's already in the game. Just experiment with some numbers
