Restoring Save Games

My dear son <grrr> downloaded and installed the Mod Manager and Explorer from here then created a mod (without reading all the stuff here) and installed it.

Needless to say it did not work. In fact Fl would no longer start up. Even after I deactivated the mod and used the restore backup option.

So I completely uninstalled everything and reinstalled just Fl.

My question is, how do I get my save games back. I have found them on the disk but do not know how to make Fl recognise them.

Use FLMM tools option, and you will see "go to save games folder" - click on it and it takes you to your save games folder. Put them in there.

If you don't want to use FLMM, and you know where the old files are, then just go to My Documents, My Games, Freelancer, Accts, Single Player and put the old files in there manually. Should work as long as the saved games were not from a modded game.
