question about removing objects in a system

hello , i have a small problem , if i remove a object (a modular base) in a system , i can't go near the place where it stood or the game crashes
can anyone help me please , its for my first mod

Depends exactly upon what your removing. What is it, where is it etc etc etc

well , ive removed freeport 2 in the Bering system , but the zone is still there

Just a thought, it could be the 'encounter zone' for the base. Beings theres no base, it may be the cause of the crash.

well now i have removed freeport 4 in Magellan and i can get near it (same happens with freeport2 in bering) , but when i come in the piece of space where the station used to be it crashes

Just an idea, but it may be the entry for that base in Universe.ini - it's expecting to find the base there. Comment out its entry in that file and it should work

well , thats the problem , if i delete the entry the whole game crashes

project combat , it will KNOCK YOU OVER

hmmm, i'd say darkstone is probably right, try posting the contents of the file ou edited
