making tradelane rings visible from a longer distance?

Everybody knows what LODRanges is/are for. I'm looking for something similar: making the tradelane rings visible from a longer distance.

Since there is no such a thing like LODRanges listed with the tradelane objects, I'm wondering what might be the responsible command for displaying tradelane rings from a longer distance. Any clues?

Sorry, confused this with a part of another project I'm working on. Silly me

Of course there is some LODRanges stuff available to tradelane rings, but changing its values will do exactly nothing. I already changed all of the LODRanges values to higher numbers (and no, I didn't overlook something). It works for ships, stations, dockrings and so on, but in no way can I get different results with tradelane rings viewing distances.
