Its called THN editing, and a search would have revealed this. There is a tutorial in the tutorials forum, or LordFjord has a good tutorial on the subject (which has a link to the original tutorial as well)

LordFjords forums

Look for the thn editing post.

Hehe, Chips, I dont run the Exceclia forums
(sry, had to laugh when i read "LordFjord's forums".

to the topic:
THN editing can be quite tough as we dont have a tool-frontend to it. veryvery tough work, and u need a veryvery clear image of how things will look, where they are, how they move, and so on.
try modifyin existing ones first, then start creating own ones.

Erm, at Excelia the tutorial should be staring at you in the face - its thn editing tutorial i think - that link shoulda taken you to the editing forum. I can link the tut if you like - so you go straight there - but it cannot get simpler than that

i'd like to hear a few opinions from "non-excelcians"

also a lil bit to the topic to justify this post:

im starting to make a new scene for our mod. i will try out a few things that i havent written down in tuts yet. maybe ill find some time to update the tut after i finished the scene.
