Falcon thats cheating! No server will allow you use it on their server! You would be banned from every server you tried it on!

As he said server side, i severly doubt that it would be construed as cheating. However, you need to do a search in future (as this has been done multiple times)

Put a comment before the locked gates/npc_locked_gates entries:

that will mean that the game doesn't read them at all, and therefore open them up etc. Do it for all (npc_locked_gate means the NPC's won't go through) as its quicker than explaining which is what. You will need to start a new character to test it though.

If the host allows the use of those locked jumpgates and jumpholes for everyone, is it really considered cheating?

Just do as chips instructed and you can pretty much open a jumphole or jumpgate to most systems (no omicron major or minor though, and no alternate omicron beta either). The big catch 22 is, ALL PLAYER ACCOUNTS MUST HAVE THOSE JUMPHOLES AND JUMPGATES UNLOCKED otherwise it'll stop working sooner or later. One time when I was experimenting with it, the jumpgate from colorado to new york froze. Wouldn't open for anyone, not even NPCs, so eventually I just scrubbed my server of all characters and started over, but didn't have any problems since.
