This is what I have so far. I need help with ideas for skin and the placing of the Hardpoints. This is my first ship.

Winnebeggoh(spelling) for all those Space Balls fans. This is my 3rd ship.

Un-named freighter. This is my 2nd ship

you need help with poly count is what 1st comes to mind... Go to tools, and look at model statistics, what does it say for how many triangles you have?

First one's pretty cool. (I'm assuming it's a freighter)
Great idea for the winnebago, I'm not into that stuff in my game myself but I know lots of people are.
You might want to remove the wire frames if you want people to see the model.
Just easier to imagine it flying without all the verteces in the way.
Also please either warn us slow dial uppers that there are pictures in your thread or put in links so people can go elsewhere to see your pictures.

Convert your image into jpeg format (.jpg) that will make it faster to load...

Done and how would I drag the skin around the ship, because it isn't properly situated.

Sparky,

try redusing the poly-count of your ship... many poly's means computer lag time.
