Check your Grammer, but anyway, Welcome to TLR!!!
You idea of putting ST ships seems a bit, well, pointless when you can just buy Star Fleet Command 3 if you want to fly the ship.

If you still want to convert those ships to FL, you'll need tons of converters, model editors, hardpoint editors, DLL editors and script editors. So, don't waste your time.

Yah, there is a group who are trying to make a star trek total conversion. They posted in the mod announcement forum about it. They might have some ships, or certainly be interested. The best you can hope for if not get them to do it, is to find someone who can model who wants a challenge. There is nothing better than links to some pictures (or include pictures in posts (but limit size and to jpg format so it doesn't take 2 minutes for 56kers to load page )) cause seeing really cool ships usually gets someone to make them

Apart from that, it might be best to try modeling. In the Tutorials forum, there is a thread by a guy called Drizzla. He made a tutorial for "how to model a ship" - it goes from start to finish, including commands in the modeling program. That can get you started. Another good one is to find some poeple who are making ships, and have only made their first few. Then you can see if they would be willing to join you in a mini mod team. That way, see if they want to try modelling, and then you can do the ini editing.

For the ini editing, you need to go to tutorials forum and take a peek at what you want to aheive. The link below takes you to a thread that contains a load of programs, as well as links to two threads called Newbie Questions. Those threads cover a ton of topics about modding, so have a read through the "index" as it is.

However, i would recommend some pictures and Drizzlas tutorial (which is in PDF format in downloads

Have fun

Is'nt there a mod with andromeda ships in it already?

That might be WTS mod (not sure, so don't press charges for false info )

however, it depends upon what format of files they come in. You can import game formats into Milkshape, and then get the exporter to export the models in CMP format FROM milkshape, so it depends upon the format of the ships you have. You can get a 28 or 30 fully functional free trial of milkshape from their website - the link below takes you to a thread, where if you scroll down to the 2nd or 3rd post you find links to alot of tools.....one of them being the milkshape website
