pah, need to start new characters for the change in the gates being open from locked. If you moved save characters from elsewhere over, or used the same characters to test if gates are open again (after being locked), then they will be locked, as the initialworld.ini is correct, which means its save games getting corrupt

Basically: Gates are unlocked in mod.

If gates become locked for some reason, fiddling with intialworld.ini won't do anything, cause its in the save game file as to what gates can be accessed. IF you have unlocked gates and used the same character file rather than starting a new one, then you will see no difference, you need to use a brand new character.

If it happens that it was unlocked, then locked, its most likely when you edit the save games file of the characters on the server, or something else (as its impossible for the initial_world.ini cocking up without being tampered).

It is most likely bad save file editing, or corruption of character files. At worst it could be the initialworld.ini file being corrupted somehow, however i have downloaded the mod, and its in good condition, so maybe its not activating properly..........but i strongly suggest starting new character first and trying the gates again.......

did new charater still locked n charater was not edited or modified in any was
tryed deleting charater n file of save n re logged on still same thing so it has some thing to do with the save file stuff

ive tried every way you can think n more even did new install on comp that never ever had freelancer on it befor same thing locked gates

so save game stuff must have something to do with it some how
but chip if you read tread on your site you would see ive tried all things to do so some where it goes corrupt but has to be save file stuff
ill nail it dont you worry about that just wanted to no if any one else had same prob n some info on what they tried to fix prob

Thats just it, its working for me, and i have no probs - so unless something is corrupted........*shrugs*.......

will its to do with the save file found some stuff just now why it got corrupt dont no
its to do with the save temp plate i think but ill see in a day if i can hack it better to read more
but i bet if wipe all clean it would work but i think most pepole would be mad if i wiped all clean

but going to try a test remove all n wipe save area total then make a new charater n see if that works then ill play with the rest but have to figure out why it did it in the first place
hit hals n dazzles mine was fine to 3 days ago then it hit me but ill see if i can get it to work sooner or later but its a pain to do n try to run a server so going to do the test when no ones on or lock it then do it n see if i can get my charater to work first then see
