Missile/Torp/CD ammo

Hey guys

I know that to make your missiles unlimited u change the ammo requirement line to false, but it seems that after I expend the normal amount of missiles I have, no more missiles are fired, just the sound. What am I missing out on? I want to know how to change this, not change the max ammo limit just in case some1 suggests that

@Menzoberranzan, which file did you change? Ie, was it in MS games/fl/data/equip/weponsequip.ini ?

Yup it was that weapons ini over in Data\Equipments

I changed the value u outlined in bold to False. Like I said, the missile launcher stops shooting missiles after it has fired the amount of missiles I have. The thing is, I still have those missiles with me.

Eg : I loadup 50 lancers. WIth this mod on. I fire those missiles 50 times. On the 51st try, I just hear the sound, no missile is launced. Whereas I still have a full payload of 50 lancers in my ammo compartment.

Singing a little song eh? Just FYI, I'm trying to understand this to help try these mods on my clanmate's test server which is currently trying out some anticheat tech. The usual mods cheaters use are Uber Hull/Uber Shield/Modded weapons/And sometimes this. Is it a crime to just try to understand how these can be countered or bypassed?

try Ioncross then. You can do many other things (Check the anti cloak one on mainpage) as well, so I incorporate an anti uber shield part in my mods sometimes, and infuture it will be a server side anti uber hull/cloaks/shields included

Check out the thread that says how to make an energy missile.... it uses no ammo but energy.
