A request for ships.

Hello,

If I may, I would like to request someone skilled in ship design to create one or all of the following ships:

The Delta Flyer (Star Trek Voyager)
The Planet Express Ship (Futurama)
The Moldy Crow (Star Wars: Dark Forces)
The Arrow V (Wing Commander III)

As I understand it, Starlancer already has most of these ships. If someone could convert them to Freelancer, that would just be the coolest thing ever. These ships are, in my opinion, some of the coolest sci-fi craft I've ever seen, and I would love to see them put in Freelancer.

@Scuz, I think Bob McDob was doing the Planet Express, I don't know if he ever got it finished. But the Arrow can be found in development in the Privateer/WC Conversion mod otherwise known as Privateer: The Reckoning forum. Bob McDob can also be found posting there a lot as he is on the development team.

BTW, what did the Moldy Crow look like, I don't remember that one. Are we talking the first Dark Forces?

If u are looking for the galaxy...u should look in active topics and look for privateer the reckoning, it has ships form wc I,II,III and IV if i am right and also ships from privateer 1 (in the future maybe 2 too) like the tarsus, galaxy and orion in the next version, but also the paradigm and several pirate ships....

sad to say, but the best way to get something made around here is to do it yourself. There are plenty of tutorials on ship creating. It's quite satisfying to make your own ships anyway.

Yeah I can't wait for the new Reckoning mod, it doesn't say they have included the galaxy though. I don't really like any of the freighters in FL, I have been thinking of ideas to create a freighter in the civilian scheme, I think it would complement that series of ships as they are the best looking in my opinion. For now I'll still use the YT-2000...

hey, i'm just putting in my two cents here
there's a few of ships i'd love to see in freelancer. first, i can't say hammerhead from space: above and beyone enough. that and a chig fighter. also, it's be neat to see a leviathan or prowler from farscape.

Giskard has the starfury for download from his site at www.respawn.co.uk
You can then mod it in yourself if you like

You can also find it in his mod Hostile Universe, which is a fraction of the TNG size (3.5meg compared to 30+meg), as well as the fact that you won't have to search high and low for it.

Has anyone w/ the mad modding skills researched in creating BatttleStar Galatica or the Andromeda?. Those two would be nice for gunboats or cruisers.
