Simple Ship Request

The general place to discuss MOD''ing Freelancer!

Post Mon Mar 22, 2004 11:33 pm

Wow, my confusion abounds... :b Ok, if I understand you correctly, no, I don't want both sets of original wings, just the larger ones that are on the side of the ship. The short ones the engines were originally attatched to should be removed seeing as the point on the hull where they connected would no longer exist (the bottom protrusion on the cargo section).

I hope I haven't confused you, If I was writing this to myself I'd probably hit me, but that's just me...

No, you haven't confused me to bad. I am glad you dont want the second set of wings though. That would have been a pain. I'll keep trying, the problem is that Milkshape will only select parts of the wings and engines.

I just figured it out. The model is done. I havn't done any texturing or anything but I thought I'd give you a progress report. I also have a few new questions such as, what kind of stats do you want and do you have the texture file?

Cool! The model's done! Yeah!!!

Sorry, must control my excitement. Uh,hmm, the stats are generally high on the defensive side and low on the offensive side. To be honest, I already have a shiparch file entry in a text document that only needs the new hardpoints to be complete. Also, I have a custom version of the original textures in a .mat file which uses .tga instead of .dds. Basically it's still grey but has red panels and striping.

If you want we can go ahead and swap what we have. My e-mail is [email protected]

BTW: It's probably better if we use e-mail now since the forums are closing tomorrow. Just a suggestion!
