I've been looking for some mods to increase the challenge of the single player game. Basically what I want is a mod that just adds AI shield regen, and makes the AI use shield/hull repairs. Unfortunately, despite hours of looking I can't find any simple mods that just addsthis. All the mods I've found also add a bunch of stuff like new ships and new weapons, which I'm trying to avoid so as to keep the original game balance intact.

Does anyone know if one exists, and if so could you point me in the right direction?
