Editing in-game animations

Is there a way to edit in-game animations, like putting different people or
objects at different locations? I guess INI files have something to do with it.
Does anyone have any informations about how to edit some animation?

from what I know...

You can edit existing animations with minor work.. i.e. editing a few .ini's and swapping out one model/texture for another...

But, to chance the script sequence itself, is a whole different matter... In which you need to look at the .thn files, and use a utilitiy like FLED_Thorn to extract the script content.. makes changes (very complex scripting language).

But the animation sequences use the in game models/skins... so if you edit them globally, their updated versions apear in the standard sequences.

I was editing INI's but all I did is that I corrupted them
I also tried FLED_Thorn, but it just trashing some weird messages!
The script laguage is called Lua, I even downloaded another program in which
you can write Lua code, but it doesn't accept THN files (which are Lua files!)

I'm not really interested in editing models/skins, but more informations about
INI editing would be great! I played with 'triggers' for a short time, they
also has something to do with animaitons (when it will be started, blablabla).
Thanks anyway...

its nearly impossible to write a complete new animation file, but you can do some changes on existing scripts like changing the intro animations
