Milkshape + CMP plug-in probs

I am having trouble with Milkshape, I have downloaded the CMP plug-in, copied the dll into the Milkshape folder and now Milkshape won't open at all.
If anyone else has had this problem, would they let me know how to rectify it, or any ideas would be welcome. I am using the latest version of Milkshape, under Windows XP Pro; (can I blame Microsoft? Please!!)

If any more info is required please ask, I don’t know what other info is required for diagnostic purposes.

Locate the file "ms3d.log" in the milkshape directory and open with notepad or other editor, the last entry should tell you which file is the problem.

Could be a missing or broken dll file.

The log posted is similar to mine. The main differences are the milkshape version and graphics card.

I use version 1.6.6 or 1.7.0. I have tested the CMP exporter in both (+ 1.7.0 beta) and the program has worked fine.

Have you tried version 1.6.6 or 1.7.0 ?

It is also possible that the Mesa or OpenGL libraries need different versions.

The forums at the Milkshape3d site might help with the problem.

Thanks Colin, I will try updating to 1.7.0, then their forum. If I still get no joy I will post again.
