Adding a faction in SP, is it possible.

Please could someone tell me if its possible to add a faction in SP. I've read all the tutorials, done a search forums. I've looked through a lot of posts. So I've made an effort to find out for myself.

Some say its not possible and some say they've done it. I've tried and the game crashes when I try and load a save. I've followed the tutorial and edited a save game. If its just not possible in SP I won't spend anymore time trying to find the fault.

Its possible. Do everything you would to add a faction to MP and then make sure you add your new faction to the newcharacter.fl file(its encoded so use a save game editor).
