Hmm, I guess no-one knows! =)

It may be possible to do something using the camera position definitions in the Shiparch.ini file, but I don't know. I haven't done anything with them before.

Well, at least you`ve given me somewhere to look. I`m not sure what I`m doing but I`ll look there. Thanx.

Your question "remove the rear ship image when you select rear view in cockpit" was confusing. Could you be a bit more specific about what you are trying to do.

OK, I like playing the game in the `Cockpit ` view, but when I look behind me I see my ship! I suppose it`s to enable us to see the Turrets but I hate it. If I look behind me I would rather see the things really behind me, like planets, ships, space, etc.
So I was wondering just how to remove the image of your own ship in rear view?
If you can give a detailed explanation (or link to) would be nice cos I am a complete new chap on Freelancer altering...
Thanks for asking.

Hey, I did it! Not the rear view ship thing, that is still a problem, but I managed to completely change the look of the original Trent.
I think it was BakedPotatoe who sternly pointed out that I was in the wrong place of the forum, but he quickly gave me a couple of pointers to the files. I had a look, made a copy of the originals and ended up with someone with no head or hands. I tried again and it worked. I`m well pleased. I never dreamed it would be this easy. Thank you very much for your help er- bakedpotatoe, it`s great. (Unfortunately his mouth won`t open when he talks....)

Now maybe you could help me solve this one last problem with the ship rear view (if it`s at all possible).
