I was looking through the ini files and instructions for creating new ships and such. I see that you have to create all the information for the different shields, and engines etc...

I was wondering if anybody had made a mod which allowed you to purchase and upgrade individual componets on your ship in the game, making it more like Privateer (I know its not privateer, but I still want it to be) or if someone hasn't done it, is it possible, cause I might try my hand at it.
