There are many - if you want a sci fi bonanza fest of guns and ships - try TNG, if you want to battle with the capital ships and take on an invincible fort - then try fleetwars, If you wish to partake in game play and more involved search and exploration, then i suggest you try HU as it has some really fantastic little bits added to keep you coming back when all others get dull.

There are copious amounts more - but Fleetwars should be in the downloads area,
TNG 1.6 is at the starfyre studios - use their forum for it
Hostile Universe (HU) is at respawn.co.uk - there should be evidence on the title screen saying HU v8.1 - check em out

Alternatively i believe that there are many many others in the downloads area here, like australia mod, and others. You can always trawl through the general mods (click on mod category to organise by categories) and addons too. Look at description and if it says new systems - go for it.

The three i mention first are large mods - HU is about 8meg, TNG is something like 30 meg - but the size does not mean qualitly - it just means lots and lots of ships files, which take up alot of space basically.

Anyways - take your pick, or make your choice - if you don't like them - then dl another!

Thanks Chips, thats helpful, i've bin lookin' for lots of good mods recently but couldn't find the ones I wanted, that should haelp a lot.

Rebalance has a system with jumpholes to main ones, but it is a bit unstable due to all the battleship and cruiser battles.
