Sub - you got a link for that one?

Thanks for the software suggestions guys however, although I have heard good things about "Accoustica", I actually used a relative's copy of "Soundforge 4.5". It works REALLY well. Easy to add fade in/fade out effects, etc. Besides, those programs would probably take ages to download through my wimpy 56k modem.

Hehe - i got another one anyway- cheers sub. I got one where i can now edit the engine noises so that when they have a 9 second cruise time you don't get 4 seconds of silence. Its just a cut of the same warm up, and you can hear it roughly pasted in, but heck - it means you don't get that four seconds of silence which is cool.

I've put that Wagner to Hamburg and I can say it is fantastic! Thanks for idea. I would say he made that music just for this game...some kind of prophet, perhaps?

Rheinland über alles!

Glad you enjoyed it. I rather enjoy the "Planet Mars" when involved in a "Dangerous Chase" as they are referred to in FL. It's hard to match the feeling you get listening to Holst while flying though the Silverton field in pursuit of Ashcroft .

As for prophecies, well, if you want a connection to a higher plane, I suggest speaking to Mr. Blix in Rheinland .

Regards,

Oghma.

chips, someone, help.
I just rolled when I heard chips suggest the william tell overture for the hovis race.
must have it on my game!
but I have no idea how to do it. thereby the plea for help.
what format does the music need to be in. does it loop by itself or do I need a long song, or do I need to do some coding, if coding, what coding do I need to do.
what file does the music go in and how do I key it to the mission triggers.
I have a friend who just found out FL is/has been modded and would like to suprise him w/ this one.
for any help, thanks.
OH, btw. how's about the theme from 2001 when entering the dyson sphere?

I actually considered adding the "William Tell Overture" to FL, however I decided against it because so many people seemed to appreciate the race music in its original form. That is also the reason why SWMM didn't alter this music. Still, do you want some tips on creating the music for FL?

As you may have guessed, I created this mod under the pseudonym of "Oghma". My big secret is finally out. I apologise for the deception. I was too embarrassed to admit that I submitted the wrong version of my "Freelancer: Reloaded" Mod many months ago. I await your slings and arrows. And trebuchets, and mangonels, and...

We COULD email each other, however the tips and discussion that we foster here could be of use to other modders. I do not mind either way. I'll probably respond to your questions (if any) tomorrow morning, as I finish work at 8pm (Australian time). If however, you post questions within the next... 2 hours and 10 minutes, I shall respond promptly!

My email address is "[email protected]". I use it for my mods, and for spam. I'm not stupid enough to give ANYONE my personal email address. Mmm, that may explain why I receive so few emails...
