Probably applies to me, also - im pretty n00b at modding except weapons mods...
Anyway, I'm completely fine with people using my code if I get a little credit for what i did

I'm glad some of you liked my idea. I just don't know how easy it is to implement. I have posted that very same Mod Registry idea in the Site Suggestions & Feedback Forum, if you really want it, you might want to voice your support.

As for Silver_Fire, that is one funny signature you have!

I've seen many of the mods released on LR having several of the same ships, from Babylon5 to WingCommander, not to mention original creations. But... the mods rarely ever mention the one who converted the model from a previous game or original in the mod's readme or documentation. We are here to support each other, IMHO, so let's all at least give credit where's it's due.

Everyone coming out with a mod should have some document saying whether or not it is original, and if not, where the accompanying content came from. Granted there are ships/solars obviously taken from movies or tv series, we know where their ideas came from. However, original ideas should be "protected" with giving credit to the one who did it. Put the person's name in your document, or at least point to the mod you got it from. That should cover everyone down the line, no?

(Note I'm new to this... heh)
