Setting Volume

Does anybody know how to set equipment so that it takes up cargo space, even when it is equipt. I have tried doing this with a shield but cannot get it to work. Any ideas would be appreciated

did u type volume = your number u want

otherwise i dont think it will work

Tried that. It gives the equipment a volume when it is in the cargo hold, but not when it is equipt

Try moving the equipment into the select_equip.ini file, that's what I ended up doing and it works for all sorts of stuff, weapons, ammo, equipment, etc.

it works like that i have always though of doing dtuff like that but how does the comp know to attain the info from that file
