I have a question about effects

is there a way to make effects?
cause im making a cool gun but i wants to make a cool effect

Can't you use the capship gun projectile from one capship, but take its values and make another projectile from it (ie a clone) which you can change the effects of? would that work (obviously i haven't looked into effects......ever..)

There area actually a number of hidden effects in the game that were either never used or rarely used. Examples include the formation of a singularity which is nice for bombs, large lightning bolts coiling around your shots, something that looks like a huge napalm bomb explosion and so on.

Wolf, i think there is no program for effects. Look at the data/fx directory. You will find almost every effects there. Now for the ale files, ie. ale files actually contains the data for all of the effects, if you can edit it, actaully utf editor can edit it, try experimenting on them.

@Wanderer: the outer sanctum lightning don't follow my laser beam as you have described and it is very large maybe its good for cap ships effects not for small gun for fighters.

Working hard to earn... but too lazy to do something...
