msg_id_prefix/gcs_refer_system-xxxx

This is a for info only question, but I was wondering does anybody know
how the command msg_id_prefix = gcs_refer_system_xxxx works.

eg in universe.ini the first system defined is li01 and it has the following line
msg_id_prefix = gcs_refer_system_Li01

all the system creation tutorials recommend leaving it as above for a new system you create yourself, I would just like to know what effect it has or what file it can be sourced to, as this command pops up all over the place.

We are from the texas system, we are heading to the New York system - msg_id_prefix = li01_01 blah blah! We are from Manhatten, also

meg_id_xxxx = commodity_silver whatever - 'I hope this cargo hold or silver fetches a good price' - it is literally that. The message it says, ie - the id. For sytstems - it refers to that system etc Get it?
You don't have your own recordings, so that is why you use others. Unless you could make them i assume, but a big cockney telling me i am off to 'Landan innit mate' isn't really appealing

I haven't tried it as i don't even have a method of recording, but i assume it is much the same as when you do music. Just find the recorded files for the stuff and then make a new one if its possible, or just do the same old 'file replace' with some merry singsong. Make em sing!
