TNG does not require XP, I've been running it on 2000 pro.

eagle - i have a question about systems..........and its about encounters. Now i have done encounters by making zones for them , just the usual - but now have been making patrol paths. Only problem is that i keep crashing. So - what am i missing out here? Can two different zones cross each other, or is it to do with the percentage spawn chances of two intersecting zones being added up? It seems to just crash regardless, but when i remove one of them, the other works fine, and vica versa!

Chips, encounters are not my strongest point by a fair margin, but I too have had problems with overlapping zones and patrol paths.

I think it may be something to do with the total amount of AI movement, having short repop times, short relief times, high 'overall zone' density and high 'density restriction' numbers, can cause an alarming rate of AI spawning at the overlap, which seems to cause FL to fall over.

You might try cutting down on the 'overall zone density' or just not overlapping the zones, i.e. have all the faction/encounters in the same zone, (up to 20 diferent factions seems to work), with a higher max_battle_size number, (anything higher than 30 - 35 here seems to lead to crashing as well).

Let me know if this helps at all, its not a definate answer, just what worked for me. Best of luck anyway.

I Have played with the scanners with no luck in mp mode i think its the patch that stops this from working is there anyway i can bypass the cheat detecting on my own server

Most of the settings are server side, so unless the server has the same modifications as you. chances are you won't be able to have your mod working.
