Yeah, kinda sucks that the warez versions of games have so many problems. On the off-chance that you actually do have a legitimate copy of the game, being unable to uninstall the program means you possibly have some issues not at all related to Freelancer that you should resolve before you worry anymore about Freelancer.
Asking the mod authors who have already graciously provided you with a lot of their time in the making of the mod to do even more work by providing you with a list of changed files because you are too lazy or too forgetful to make a backup before installing a mod is rediculous. Unfortunately, if a mod author was to make such a list it would be burried in a readme.txt (or similar) file, probably right about at the part where most, if not all, strongly urge you to make a backup of your original files. Considering that you made no such backup it's reasonable to assume that you didn't read the readme file in which case the list of modified files wouldn't have helped you anyway.
And now that the lecture is complete, a reasonable person could presumably open up the zip (or other archive) file in which the original mod was distributed and look at the list of files contained in the archive. There is a good likelyhood that those same files listed in the archive are the files that were modified. There is also a good chance that all of the original files can be pulled out of the cab files on the game's CD without having to re-install the entire game.
What ever happened to try to solve it yourself first, and then ask for help... must instead be try to click on the same icon fifty times, when nothing happens go ask for help. Wait, nevermind, you weren't asking for help you were demanding more work from people who already work for free.
Yeah, I know, who pissed in my wheaties this morning
