Speed! (Newbie, but read)

Before asking, I searched the fourms (up to the 100days ago limit) to no avail.

I'm wondering who to increase the basic speed (Idea came from the Awing made by porche) but I've gone through all the ini's for the ships, and found nothing!

You need to create a new engine entry in the "engine_equip.ini" file. The maximum speed is determined by the "max_force" line. It should be your ship's top speed, mulitplied by 600.

Next, link that new engine to your ship in the "goods.ini" file. Find your ship enty in that file, and replace the engine listed there with the nickname of your new engine.

Look in the Freelancer editing tutorial forum. I had found them once before but couldn't remember where so I did an increase speed search on all forums. Hope this helps.
