you can find out by opening up the mbases.ini - BUT DO NOT i say again DO NOT use biniq to read it as it cocks the file pu ( I spent thirty mins sorting mine back out in notepad........)but - in there:
rumor = base_0_rank, mission_end, 1, 131913
rumor = base_0_rank, mission_end, 1, 131914
rumor = base_0_rank, mission_end, 1, 131915
use your fled ids at this point to change whatcha see!! now, NO rude stuff

I'm gonna try this now !

I tried what you told me but that doesn't match : for example, when i wanna see what ids correspond to into the dlls files, that's not it !
Is the id calculation key for the entry in dll different of the one for the objects ?

You saying that it isn't a rumour? Or that you tried it and couldn't find it after wards?

131914 - I run the silver run from blah blah blah bla............ - the rogues attack so often, i don't even think much about it anymore.

I'll look into this in more detail for a while before going to bed - hehe

You could stand to have a better reputation with %F0v1, I could hack your record for %d0, that should clear things up, of course it will make you less popular......

So what isn't working etc - what exactly do you mean - which base, what numbers etc! Details not 'it aint working' - never solve a problem by 'it aint working' - and am not going to mod my files for a 'it aint working' LOL - Post up which, what, where, whom, etc etc - cause everything else seems this easy to me! Ie - changing characters names - dead easy.........lol

I made a mistake when calculating the corresponding key, so don't take care of my last message . Sorry.

But what i'm really looking for is creating my propers info, you know, the style : "i'll upload all of the info on planet ...... for 4000 credits"
And i don't understand the meaning of it.

So you could make them get custom info AND actually get a custom bribe as well - like say 200k makes you neut with nomads..............

I have one or two things to make it function properly, but that's in a good way !

Well in fact i aim to make information accordable only for a mod of mine :
in the stations i made, there are some usefull objects, but i don't want anyone to be capable of finding it, so my stations are hidden.
So if the player doesn't have a lot of money, he won't be able to find them.

Of course if he cheated his money, he'll be able to do it, and the same if he's capable of reading the .ini of the system. But if he's capable of doing that, then no matter he obtains what i offer to him.
