Need help with paint job.

Hello all, I am newly registered to post but have been lurking in the forums for a while.
I have made a mod that adds a new Eagle to the game (it keeps the old Eagle in the game). I did this because I wanted to apply FurryAngel's blue skin to an Eagle while not applying it to the rest of the civilian ships. The mod is working fine except for one major thing that I can't figure out... On planet, the ship is skinned just fine with the new black/blue paint job. Once out in space it reverts back to the old original paint job. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can post the FLMM script if needed. Thanks for your time.

Anybody?
Somebody must know why this happens? Why would it revert back to the original skin in space when the modified skin is applied fine while in base/planet.
Btw, this is happen in SP, I am not trying to funk with someone's server.

Because in space, nobody can hear you scream?

Seriously though, check the tutorial on making a new ship, follow all of the steps involved with assigning materials to your ship, you are probably using the same material list for your "new" eagle that the "old" one was. You can't just change the name of the .mat file either, you have to edit all of the material names in Milkshape and then use those new names in your material list in the .mat file.

That's my guess anyway, but I never had that problem myself so I could be wrong.
