Globale Message from TFK-Killermatrix to TNG

Ah - i have read a couple more topics on this now, so i have edited my post! as what i was led to believe was the topic, is slightly different!
Is this right?
You worked for/with Reynen on TNG series mods. Spawn made the ships (is that right) and you helped/ textured or something?!?Of course, permission was granted by all parties for utilising those ships as everyone was working together.
(correct my mistakes up to this point, as it was difficult to discern what was true / false etc)
okay, from there on, You left Starfyre or were asked to leave (who cares really!) and started your own mod. You put in the ships you worked on from TNG into that mod as well. Then, as they made new ships for TNG 2.0, somehow you accuired the ships mods? (the models of the ships and the info stuff) for all of their ships, and then implemented them into your mod, without asking to use them (these you had no hand in making). You then passed them off as yours saying that you made them (again, going off what i have read) whilst you claim they are yours??......
Starfyre say that date stamps and names are identical, but theirs were done 1 week before yours (and announced as well). They don't want you to use their ships, and you are using them cos you say they are yours?!?! Is that nearly there or are we missing something. the reason i ask is cos if you make a public post on here, it would be nice to know/understand exactly what is going on!! All i saw was alot of nasty comment s on their board and nothing else!.
So - one had everyonees permission to use, the other didn't, but are both claiming them as yours?! Hmm - The only thing in their favour is that i don't see how they got the ships from you...... no link there.....

My view is, if your borrow from others you should not complain when others borrow from you.

Though you should always ask first for permission and give the original maker a chance to release the stuff first if he wishes.

Anyway this is an argument i ran in to in my early HU releases so i understand why they are kicking off. Though to be honest, i gather from the thread TNG got ships from TK so I would have thought they would return the favour.

Complex stuff this is.
Could easily have been avoided by simply asking. Its only polite.

this is why we at Astral -prime studios got copyright!

also as a security measure try getting a watermarking programme for graphic files there are plenty about. they code in your specific watermark into the files (you cant see them but there there in code) it does add anything to the size of the file and gives you complete control over your models and textures. just a pointer to people making there own mods.

or an easy way to sopyright and proove your ships are yours. is to download your models to disc stick it in an envolope and post it to yourself. the delivery people will stamp there signature and date on the envelope. get it done by recorded delivery and you have proof you did so and so first.

Encryption might work. I heard Reynen and his team did something like that.
