same problem need help, beta 4 dies in like 30 seconds or so.

can you please post this in our foums on the official website, or in the starfyre section, so we can address this? i barely look through here, you were lucky i did. Reynen doesnt check here for bug reports, otherwise he would never have time for anything else, so if you want it fixed, post it somewhere we know where to look for it and address it!!!

I have found a solution! A security hole allows us to access a file.
First load a BINI uncompresser.
Activate the expansion in FLMM.
Open DATA\MISSIONS\M01B\npcships.ini
Scroll down till you find an entry like this:

[NPCShipArch (there should be a closing bracket here, TLR takes it away ???)
nickname = MSN01b_Beta4
loadout = MSN01b_Beta4
level = d1
ship_archetype = li_fighter
pilot = MSN01b_Beta4
state_graph = FIGHTER
npc_class = lawful, FIGHTER

change ship_archetype = li_fighter to ship_archetype = co_elite2 That should make him fly a titan. He wont be to powerful (he still has bad weapons) but his armor will take anything.

TLR takes out the brackets for codes. It tells it when to end the code line. Like with images. Without it... The images would not show up.

Reynen sure put a lot of failsafes eh?
