I'm assuming you have 2 machines; 1 on the web and one with freelancer? Try hooking them up with a direct serial connection.

If the computer you use to connect to Internet have USB port. just buy a USB storage device. It's cheap and have much more memory than floppy.

Actually I use the machine at work to surf the net on lunch and breaks, but my machine at home is the one I use for games. The one I use at work might not even be able to run freelancer at all, but it has broadband. My computer at home is completely stand alone (no modem, no LAN, nothing). And I think that my supervisor might complain just a little bit if I bring in my computer from home and/or hook up anything he didn't OK first. That includes CD burners and the other suggestions (thanks for them anyway). I may work in the tech room, but the equipment in some ways really bites. They wouldn't even listen to my suggestion of hooking up zip drives for us to use. Basically, I am really stuck with what I've got.

I use one to bring stuff home from work. Its cheap, tiny, connects to your key ring and holds a hell of a lot of data. I asked my system admin to check it out and he loved it so much he bought himself one.

Oh yeah...and its small enough to connect without your sys ad knowing if he's particularly arsey.

If the designers release them out as individuals, I assume you know how to mod and reassemble. So what ships are on your mind?

The main ones are the babylon 5 ships, but the only modding I know how to do is dowloading items from here and using them. I don't go anywhere near the code. And yes, my supervisor is that prickly. The only reasons I stick around are because I need the money too badly, the stinking job market is flooded in my field, and here I have a broadband connection while I have no connection at home (my 28.8K went belly up). And now my boss is even seeming to consider cutting off everyone's internet connection and limiting it to ONE computer in the TECH ROOM (that's where I am). Infer I.Q. level from there.

Bring a bunch of disks and make a multispanning archive using winzip or something like that. While it might not be realistic for the really huge mods, it's still a good option.
