Could you have Storage in this game?

Is it possible to make a place where you can store your ship. So you can have multiple ships. Also maybe you can store weapons, shields and other stuff I can't think of.

So far, on multiplayer, people have storage characters on which they transfer all the stuff they want to "bank". There is no real way to "store" a ship afaik.

Well that sucks... I wonder why they didn't, it seems that this game is screaming for shorage for ships. Well thanks for the info.
