Add more AI ships to the FL universe...

ile be amazed if anyone reads this one, but here goes: When you play freelancer, look at a planet. how many people do you think live on a planet, like, manhatten? Ever wondered why 1/100 of thoes billions can fly ships?

My current goal is to plant an idea into any modder's head about adding a heck-ov-a-lot more ships. When you get into space around manhatten, have the FL engine add a huge amount of civ' ships that just buzz around.

So instead of just afew ships flying around big space stations and planets, have the space flooded with them It would make a fun mod, and seeing 50 AI liberty rino's in one convoy would REALLY be interesting... 'corse if someone could come up with a mod like this you would need a beast of a computer.

Other things like pirates, fighters, and transports could be super-multiplied.

To really get the best effect of this mod idea, the mod would also make the chance of random ships appearing really high.

Anyone interested?

I’m at work at the moment, and don’t have access to my ‘Game’ computer, it should be a simple process of adding more encounter profiles in the ‘system’.ini file.

When I have access to the proper machine, (this evening), I will sort out some additional lines and post them.

p.s. if you don't have it already, you will need to download bini.exe, a *.ini decompressor avalable from the editing utilities forum.
