Ok, here is what I found about SwordFish II equipment

Now, I did not found were Four GENOM L-s9.3 blaster cannons are located, so I need to know that (anybody got any clue). Also could somebody find a pic of weps in action so that I can chose appropriate effect for them.

I know for main cannon, and rest of the equipment. Also SPEED RATING: 200 MGLT, how much would that be in freelancer...200m....or 2k.

Please post any pics of SwordFish you can find...the more the beter.

***NOTE***, this time I will make all custom equipment and name it the way they are in series. Also I will add info card for all of the things. Might try doing script for the first time. It will be less for download .

I've got a library of about 70 swordfish screencaps...trying to make a model that's as accurate as possible. Here are the guns you're looking for


edit: basically souped up machine guns. The effects are nothings spectacular: trail of glowing bullets

leonhart, I'll send you the weapons mod I made for the Swordfish. It has the Bebop style guns, laser cannon, and missles. I also edited the ship to fly better now.

Anyone else who wants it can email me for it.

For the guns, put a weapon hard point on the top half of the outside part of the end of the wing and one on the bottom part of the outside part of the end of the wing... does that sound confusing? heh heh.

What I'd really like is a weapon hardpoint on both sides of the cockpit for missiles (so they will be more hidden than if you put them under the wings). Because we have to put cool, rapid-fire missles on every Bebop ship.

I got both machine guns done, did not know it has missiles, and main cannon is almost done too.

Could you explain about missiles, post a pic or something

Technically, the Swordfish didn't have any missile launchers. But when you edit the missiles with rapid fire, increased speed, and shooting in wide arches will remind anyone who has seen CB of their distinctive missiles. So I thought we should add them to all their ships.

The swordfish once mounted a missile, though, but it was a cheap one with a faulty guidance system. It mounts on the edge of the wing (see the circular hardpoint hole) and is a single-shot weapon.

I really just wish someone could get that huge cannon on the bottom to fire like it does in the show/movie. Just a big fat beam that lasts for about two seconds and blows stuff up real good Also, yes, it seems like the swordfish two has a couple of machine guns. I downloaded the current version and felt that the weapon systems weren't faithful to the show. I am beginning work on fixing this issue. Also, if someone can improve on the skin... it's too bright and solid. While I respect Leonhart's work as a modeler, I don't think that skin is fitting. No offense or anything. And I'm just glad you finally released this.

I got all done except the skin and info cards. I made Machine Guns, Main Cannon and Missile Hard Points.

Leonhart, I would be interested in the main cannon effects. What were the settings of the beam if you don't mind? Could you please email them to me? As for the machinegun fire, did you use custom settings in the beam_effects.ini?
