Hp Types

I have a question about hp types .. specifically thrusters and engines.
what is what there. the goods.ini says that it adds engines internally. so I am wondering if you even need one. but if I don't have at least an HpEngine01 it gives no power.
Then what are HpThruster0x .. are they the actual nozzels? I am assuming that they are since I put them inside the nozzels on my ship and the engine glow seems to originate from well within the model now. are these also the turbo sources?
Is there an object for the thrusters? I have 3 dohickeys on the buttend of my ship when I originally put the thusters on the face of my models thrusters.

Okay .. and while I'm at it .. why is the ship invisible while docking and leaving dock.

those thrusters are exactly the afterburners (turbo) that you add. if you have 3 thrusters ie. HpThruster01 to 03, you will need to put 3 thrusters (adv. thruster for example) too in your game. Slipstream has 2 thrusters that are each has thrust of 200 thus it will catapult my ship to speed of 500+ depending on your linear drag defined in the engine.

As fo nozzles they are not. Nozzles are used by the engine. if you have 3 engines ie. HpEngine01 to 03 then you must have 3 nozzles defined. so one definition of an engine will produce one fire for each engine.

Working hard to earn... but too lazy to do something...

cool .. I will have to play with the thrusters then .. from some reason I get 3 objects on the end of my ship that look like shield generators .. but the shield generator is nowhere near it. I'll play with it a little more and figure out what it actually is.

u r invisible when docking and undocking is just ur computer. nothing with the game.
i have it all the time ships bases and the rare, invisible planet

sticks and stones may break my bones but whips and chains excite me!

those 'shield gen look alikes' are apparently the main engines
