Help me please

I want to change the colour of the catapult missile, now the smoke that appears behind it when I launch it is white. I want to change it to a colour that is more obvious, cuz I can't see if they hit now. I'm new to this so please explain it in a detailed but easy to understand.

im not gonna spend the time writing a tutorial....but if you want me to change the missile i will do so

if you could direct me to a tutorialn that would be helpfull. I'd like to do it myself, so I can learn.
