Need some help...

Hi there!

How can I get FL's and even SL's texture maps?? Is there any tool that allows me to do it?? That's just because I would like to use some of FL's and SL's textures for my modelling work...

Use utf_edit to pull out the .psp (I think) files from the .mat files. The psp files should be openable with photoshop or something.

Where can I find this utf_edit??? I can't find it in the DL's section...

The texture graphics are stored in the MIPS branches, you have to export them and save them with extension (someone tell me if I'm wrong) .psp

AFAIK the texture files for game objects are in .dds format.

Tho it is possible that Photoshop will recognize them if you give them a .psp extension.

if you have milkshape3d and you have downloaded the cmpimporter there is an option in the importer that looks for the MAT file of the Ship being imported and can extract those textures. i think it is in TGA format.

Does anyone knows where is the MAT file for bounty hunter ships... it seems to be missing

Look in shiparch.ini and see the name of the mat file the ship is actually using, they didn't do it like most modders do, one mat file is used by many ships.
